Jim Alter

Pastor, Grace Baptist Church

In March of 1997, Pastor Jim Alter accepted the call to pastor Grace Baptist Church, where he has been the pastor for 27 years. He has a passion for the Lord, Biblical preaching, evangelism, discipleship, and world missions. He is co-founder of the Ancient Baptist Press and an editor of the Ancient Baptist Journal.

Paul Schroeder

Assistant Pastor, Grace Baptist Church

After spending 15+ years in the construction industry, Paul answered the call to full-time ministry. He is excited to serve at Grace Baptist Church supporting Pastor Jim and contributing to the church's mission for many years ahead. Paul's greatest joys are being a husband to his wife, Sara, and a father to their seven children. His passion lies in promoting evangelism, fostering discipleship, and studying the Word of God.

Deacons

Deacons are specially selected men of the church, first mentioned in Acts 6, to assist the pastor with the care of the church and its members. Deacons must align with the standards outlined in 1 Timothy 3.
